Word-filled Wednesday: Thirsting for God

Happy Word-filled Wednesday! I took this photo at a state park located near my childhood home in Maryland. Adjacent to this stream is a beautiful waterfall. There is something so soothing to me about being around or in the water. Is it becauses it reminds me of our Creator and the only source of the living water ~ Jesus, our Messiah? I thirst for him and await His return!

"As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God." Psalm 42:1-2

"If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, 'Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.' "  John 7:37-38
